Donatella Versace’s self-esteem struggles

(Photo:formal dresses online)The fashion designer has admitted she’s suffered from a lack of confidence throughout her career and spends her nights dwelling over her decisions.

When asked to name the hardest part of her job, Donatella – who is the Vice President of the Versace Group and chief designer for the Italian label – told the New York Times newspaper: ”It’s my self-esteem. I trained myself to hide my vulnerability and my insecurity for a long time. I give in to these two emotions only when I am alone. At the end of the day, I’m just kind of thinking, ‘Is it good enough?’ The next day I wake up and I’m like, ‘Oh, yeah, that was fine.’ But usually, in the evening, I have that half an hour that I think I did everything wrong.”

The fashion icon, 59, also claims to be the ”most antisocial person” and despite a constant stream of party invites and shows to attend she prefers spending time in her apartment.

She said: ”My private life, nobody believes me, is really – when I finish my work, working here, I’ll go to a show or after-party, but when I get home from those things, I lock myself in the apartment and I don’t want to hear anything. I’m the most antisocial person you can think about. Even if nobody believes me.”

Donatella also shared the details of her day to day routine and confessed to having an entire ”glam squad” to keep her looking red carpet-ready.

She explained: ”I wake up very early in the morning – 6:30 to 7 – and do a little bit in the gym. Not because I love it but because I need to do it to keep my body healthy. And I have a light breakfast.

”I have a glam squad, who help me to do hair and makeup every morning. I don’t look like this when I wake up, you know. I need a little help. And then I go to the office and talk to my assistants, go through all the mail. And then I go straight downstairs and just wander around.”Read more at:cheap formal dresses

I hope this list helps you treat your love to an evening beyondchocolate and flowers with one of the following ideas.

1- If you’re heading out to the movie theater to catch a flick, the hottest ticket is definitely going to be Fifty Shades of Grey. However, if you’d rather avoid the cold and the crowds and watch a movie at home, you’ve got a much wider array of films to choose from.

4- Spend the night relaxing over good food and cozy company instead of cramped with strangers. Have Valentine’s Day dinner in bed.

5- Making Valentine’s Day-themed cocktails with your boyfriend is a fun and festive way to celebrate the day. Make each other drinks after all, ending Valentine’s Day with a homemade Be Mine Mojito doesn’t get much better.

6- There are many romantic and wonderful plays that go on around Valentine’s Day. Check with your theater group to see if anything is showing.

7- When is the last time the two of you danced together? Turn on the radio or put on your favorite songs and get ready to wrap into each other’s arms as you dance to some some romantic music.

8- Going for a massage together is a Valentine’s Day treat. A relaxing massage is just the thing to get both of you in the mood for Valentine’s Day.

9- Anticipation is half the fun of a romantic surprise. Start the excitement by leaving a trail of rose petals leading to your favourite room, where you can leave Valentine’s Day gifts.
